Hey Beauties! As a disabled Latina beauty lover, I’m always looking for products that are good quality, but also have accessibility and inclusivity. Especially lipgloss. Recently, I’ve tried three makeup products that really stood out. The first is Royal Sash Metallic Lipstick by Oulac Cosmetics. Then there’s the Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick Set that comes in a cute phone-shaped case. And finally, the Made by Mitchell Beam Lip Glosses.
Royal Sash by Oulac Cosmetics
As soon as I saw this color, I knew it would go perfect with the new Natasha Denona palette. This metallic lipstick is Royal Sash by Oulac Cosmetics. I have to admit, it definitely isn’t as purple as the photo shows. It’s more of a fuchsia color. The lipstick itself looks very purple, but it’s much brighter when it’s applied.
However, it’s still very pretty, and I’ll wear it a lot. I really like how it’s moisturizing. Most metallic lipsticks are dry, like a matte formula, but this was a smooth application. There’s not any type of glitter in it. It’s just really shiny, which I love. One layer gives you a nice shimmer, and two layers makes it more metallic.
I’ll let you guess which one I like 😂
There’s a magnetic lid, which I LOVE. It’s much easier to open and close. I don’t know if brands think of this as accessible, or just a trend. Either way, I love it and appreciate the packaging for physically disabled people like me. ☺️
Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Lipstick
Let’s talk a little bit about the Sephora sale! I bought the Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick Set. I think a lot of people sleep on Sephora’s cream lip stain, because not a lot talk about it. It’s my FAVORITE product from their collection.
It comes with 5 creamy lipsticks in a cute little phone case. Now you know-if it comes in any type of bag, or case I’m buying it. The 30% off helped too.
The 5 shades are:
⭐️ 01 Always Red
⭐️13 Marvelous Mauve (I think this one is my favorite)
⭐️124 Rose Instinct
⭐️126 Hot Hot Pink (my 2nd favorite)
⭐️ 127 Frozen Pomegranate
This is their new vegan formula, and I know some people are in an uproar about it, because they loved the original. Honestly, I can’t tell the difference. It doesn’t make my lips feel cracked or dry, and it doesn’t emphasize the lines. These are the only concerns I care about, personally.
Is it transfer proof? No, but I don’t think I’ve ever bought a lipstick or foundation that actually is. And there are different ways to make it stay put. As always, make sure you exfoliate your lips before you apply any type of matte formula. I also sleep with one of my lip sleeping masks/lip balms (use whatever you have) to keep them moisturized.
These come in the full size, so I think $38 is amazing since they’re $16 each!
Made By Mitchell Beam Lip Gloss
I think I need to declare this as lip week, haha.
I bought 5 Made By Mitchell Beam Lip Gloss, because I love his contour and blush palette so much. I know everyone was going crazy over the color Milkshake 4 Me, so naturally, I had to buy it. This is an extremely shinyand sticky lipgloss
I love sticky lipgloss. I always have, it just lasts longer. For some reason I love it, but don’t worry I don’t put enough on to make my lips feel sticky, so I never had an issue. It’s the long lasting effects that I like. Makeup has come a long way though.
When I started my makeup journey a million years ago, sticky lipgloss was like Elmers glue. I think I’m just old, and set in my makeup ways. I mean, hello? 2016 makeup forever. By the way, e.l.f. makeup used to be a $1. 😂 And don’t even get me started on wet n wild! 😆
Okay, let’s get into the shades:
Stargirl is very nude . In fact, it’s almost too nude for me however, I think it would look great with the brown lip liner.
Milkshake 4 Me is one of the most popular ones, but it’s extremely frosty on me. Not the best for my skin tone, but again, I think it would work really well with a lip liner. Like a a brownish nude color.
Candy Cute is my favorite one. It looks very flattering on my skin tone. It’s the right shade of a cool pink.
Let’s Go Party is the most sheer one, but it has a hint of red. I know it’s pink, but it brings out the natural color of my lips.
IRL is another favorite. It has purple glitter and it’s holographic, which you know I love. I’ll definitely get a lot of use out of that one.
Conclusion
The Royal Sash Metallic Lipstick by Oulac Cosmetics is a metallic lipstick can be both bold and comfortable. The Sephora Collection Cream Lip Stain Liquid Lipstick Set shows how quality doesn’t have to be expensive, and the Made by Mitchell Beam Lip Glosses remind me why I’ve always loved sticky lipgloss. Remember, makeup is more than just beauty. It’s about feeling good too.
