My Favorite New Makeup for Fall

Hello Beauties! There are makeup products that make an impact on people everywhere. A brand that has captured my attention is Made By Mitchell. I’m excited to finally have my hands on the Curve Case. I also tried out the new Clarins Comfort Lip Oil in black, which is perfect for fall. Even though it’s dark color, it applies sheer, but still gives off Halloween vibes. Recently, I struggled with a reel I made about the Kaja lip oils. I posted it anyway because my love for makeup outweighs my doubt.

Made By Mitchell Curve Case

I’m so excited to finally have a Made By Mitchell Curve Case. I’ve been seeing him all over my FYP, but I know his website was just for the UK at the time. When it was available on the TT Shop, I pounced. I have the Curve Case Cream Makeup Palette in Light. Normally I’m medium, but the brown shades looked too red for my skin tone in that palette.

The case comes with 4 blush shades, and four bronzer shades. It’s also available in lighter, medium, deep, and deeper. The shade cold heart caught my eye, which is probably why I went with the light palette to begin with. Well-that and the brown shades in the medium palette weren’t a match for me. I also applied Cold Heart on my lips too. This curve case is BEAUTIFUL! I’m really happy with this purchase. The colors are easy to blend, and they MELT into my skin. They also don’t accentuate my skin texture.

The only thing I wish it had was an attached cover. The top completely comes off, but it would be easier for me if I had more control over it. HOWEVER, the top is really easy to pull off, so there’s that. I’d definitely recommend you tape it if you’re going to travel with it.

Clarins Comfort Lip Oil in Black

I have the new Clarins Comfort Lip Oil in Black with simmer in it, and I think it’s perfect for fall. The also have a white one, but I’m feeling the Halloween vibes. Most lip oils are very sheer, so I really wasn’t worried about the pigment. I knew most likely it would be clear, and it is

I really wanted a dark purple lip liner, so I went to Sephora to grab one. I wanted a gel lip liner at first, but unfortunately I didn’t see any in stock. They only had matte. I bought it in the color Sangria, because I was looking for a plum color. I’m not a fan of matte lip liners, because I have too many lines in my lips, and it just drags.

However, it was the perfect color I was looking for. I outlined my lips, and filled them in except for the middle. I wanted to give it a little bit of an ombre effect. This was exactly the look I was hoping for, and even though I didn’t find the gel lip liners, this is the perfect color I had in my head.

Kaja Beauty Lip Oil in Apple Cider + innBeautyProject Glaze Lip Oil in Pumpkin Spice Latte

I have the new Kaja Beauty Juicy Glass Lip Oil in Apple Cider and the innBeautyProject Glaze Lip Oil in Pumpkin Latte, but I want to get a little personal for a minute. I’m not crazy about the reel I made on IG. I didn’t like certain aspects that no one probably pays attention to. I don’t like my hair, and I didn’t like my close up shots of the lip oils, so I threw them out. I don’t like what I’m wearing, and I know I’m capable of looking better.

These are all normal feelings. You’re not going to love every photo and video you create. You’re going to criticize yourself about what you could have done better, or about getting the right light and angle. But I still posted it. I posted it because it really doesn’t have anything to do with me and my feelings. It has to do with the products I love. So I keep going.

Of course it has a little to do with me. You have to like the person you follow or watch. But without makeup, I wouldn’t be posting at all. Remember what you’re passionate about, because in the end it’s the whole reason why you’re still here.

OK let’s move on. Apple Cider definitely smells like apples. More like apple juice actually. It reminds me of one of the Bath and Body Works candle. I’m not complaining because I love those kind of scents, and it’s just for reference. It was a darker orange but not highly pigmented, which I wasn’t expecting anyway.

Pumpkin Spice Latte is definitely sweeter! It smells like a regular PSL from Starbucks, which I’m not mad about. Pumpkin Latte is more brown with red undertones. You can use any nude or a light brown lip liner you already own to add some definition. Both lip oils are nice and juicy, and I’d never be able to pick between the two, but I’m in my fall era.

Conclusion

My recent experiences with products like the Made By Mitchell Curve Case, Clarins Comfort Lip Oil, and Kaja Beauty Juicy Glass Lip Oil made me remember why I’m so passionate about makeup. The Curve Case great for getting a flawless, natural look without accentuating my skin texture. The Clarins Comfort Lip Oil makes it the perfect lip combo for the witchy vibes it brings.

Kaja Beauty’s Apple Cider and innBeauty Project’s Pumpkin Latte brought all the cozy vibes I was looking for, and I look forward to using them a lot during fall. Lastly, despite the tough emotional day that happens occasionally, I’m still going to share my honest thoughts and reviews, because it’s my passion.
